Archbishop Henry J. Mansell was the principal celebrant of the second annual Blue Mass at the Cathedral of St. Joseph in Hartford on May 2. Police, fire and other public safety professionals from departments throughout the Archdiocese attended the event, which was preceded by a procession on Farmington Avenue. The procession passed under a huge American flag that was draped from a ladder truck outside of the entrance to the cathedral.
