The 26th annual Franciscan Sports Banquet drew sports personalities as well as plenty of people who are not sports-related to the Aqua Turf in Plantsville on June 8. The event annually raises funds for the ministries of the Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist, whose international ministries include the Franciscan Life Center and Franciscan Home Care and Hospice Care, both in Meriden.
