Hundreds of people were on hand on June 24 at the Cathedral of St. Joseph in Hartford for a Mass of Thanksgiving in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the ordination to the priesthood of Auxiliary Bishop Emeritus Peter A Rosazza. Many attendees said they have known Bishop Peter, as most called him, for many years. Lorraine ZuMallack read the petitions. Bishop Rosazza officiated at her wedding and those of her children; he also baptized her children and recently, her grandchildren. (Photos by Lenora Sumsky)
