Children and their parents flocked to Holy Family Passionist Retreat Center on June 26 for the eighth annual Children's Peace Festival, where everything from singing and dancing to bubble-making, face-painting and feather-balancing gave attendees a chance to enjoy each other in peace. The festival is the brainchild of Passionist Father John Pesce, who has said, "I think that if children grow up with this desire for peace, then they'll realize that there are other ways of settling disputes than going to war."
